Lacquer Candy Box + Tea Tray

This candy box and tea tray were made by Isuke, a Kyoto-based company with over 180 years of heritage in the Japanese lacquer arts. From its beginnings as a lacquer supplier to Kyoto artists, Isuke has evolved to become a creative producer and innovator of modern Japanese lacquerware.

Stash teatime treats or other small treasures in the covered box, which is made with traditional urushi lacquer technique. Keep all your brewing essentials on the tray for easy access whenever you need a tea break. Lacquerware naturally shows wear over time, and its wabi-sabi nature is considered another element of its beauty.

We've wrapped each gift box with Three Gems noshi paper and a mizuhiki knot.
